THE LUSWP ANNUAL CLUB TOUR
The LUSWP Annual Club Tour is one of the biggest and most exciting events of the year and always very popular amongst the club members from both sports. The Annual Club Tour always occurs during the first week of the Easter vacation period and is a fantastic opportunity for all of our teams to visit a new country, prepare for the Roses varsity and enjoy some relaxation time with teammates and friends before the summer exam period.
The LUSWP Annual Club Tour involves travelling abroad to enjoy a small training camp at carefully selected aquatics centres, as well as some excellent team activities, including day trips, team meals and nights out. There are also plenty of opportunities for club members to explore the city in smaller groups so that everyone's Tour experience is filled with memorable personal experiences.
Recent LUSWP Annual Club Tour destinations have included trips to the Irish capital of Dublin and stunning European destinations in Budapest, Hungary, Prague, Lisbon, Barcelona and, most recently, Berlin. The LUSWP Executive Committee work extremely hard to arrange a new mystery location each year, revealed in a club meeting during the Michaelmas Term, so that each year an exhilarating new adventure is on offer.
An outstanding feature of the LUSWP Annual Club Tour is the unique opportunity to travel abroad as part of the club for a very affordable price. Whilst the Annual Club Tour is separate to the club membership fees, no matter which European city you get the opportunity to visit, a student friendly price and payment system is offered to all travellers to cover the cost of flights, accommodation and the limited edition Tour Kit.
